Stephen Gaerber

Director

A native of Vancouver, Stephen Gaerber is a co-founder and director of the Ronald S. Roadburg Foundation.  He is a businessman and former lawyer who has served in various leadership positions in the local Vancouver and broader Canadian Jewish community for over 30 years. He is also a graduate of the Wexner Heritage Program.

Stephen’s volunteer leadership roles span numerous organizations, including as board chair of Jewish Federation of Greater Vancouver and chair of the Federation’s local allocations and Israel/overseas allocations committees.  He has also served as president  of Jewish Family Services, and vice-president of Congregation Beth Israel. For 17 years Stephen represented Vancouver on the national board of Jewish Federations of Canada – United Israel Appeal. In that context he has been involved for over 18 years with the Partnership 2Gether relationship between six Canadian Jewish communities and five municipalities in Israel’s Upper Galilee region, including four years as Canadian co-chair of the steering committee of the partnership.
