Emet Davis

Program and Partnerships Director

Emet Davis is the program and partnerships director of the Ronald S. Roadburg Foundation. 

Emet brings extensive experience working with and consulting for progressive labour organizations, non-profits, and businesses, chiefly in the areas of communications, resource development, community engagement, and government relations.

As a past director with the BC General Employees’ Union (BCGEU), Emet oversaw the union’s research, campaigns, communications, and education departments, in addition to its strategic partnerships program, funding numerous allied organizations across

BC. Previously, Emet was executive director of BC Citizens for Public Power Society (2007 – 2010), director of communications and education (2006 – 2007) and director of development (2000 – 2003) with Positive Living BC Society.

Emet is a past officer and executive council member with the BC Federation of Labour and a past board member with JQT-Vancouver, Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives, and the Vancouver Friends for Life Society. Presently, Emet is chair of the Wilderness Committee and a board member with Or Shalom Synagogue.
