Elana Bloomfield

Program Officer/Grants Manager

Elana Bloomfield joined the Ronald S. Roadburg Foundation team in November 2023 as Program Officer/Grants Manager after working for a decade at Habonim Dror Camp Gilboa in Southern California. Elana was most recently Camp Gilboa’s Executive Director, after seasonal director roles and serving five years as Associate Director.

Elana completed a master’s in organizational leadership at Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion’s Zelikow School of Jewish Nonprofit Management in 2018.  Throughout her time in Los Angeles, Elana was involved in organizing for racial justice through Bend the Arc: A Jewish Partnership for Justice and participated in the IKAR Jewish Community, taking on leadership roles in the IKAR Tribe 20s/30s community. She is now a proud “IKAR from Afar” member.

Outside of the office, Elana can be found at the ice rink playing hockey, exploring the Vancouver coffee scene, attending Shabbat potluck dinners with fellow Camp Miriam alumni, or at the dog park with her retired camp dog, Fievel.
